The challenge
Governance is shaped by relationships, judgement and complex systems. Converting source material into a sequence of slides wouldn't give public-sector learners enough opportunity to examine decisions or apply ideas.
UNSW Canberra needed a fully online course that retained the depth of the subject while supporting active, student-centred learning.
The approach
Curio moved through discovery, blueprinting, detailed design and development. The course combined interactive tasks and multimedia with assessment across synchronous and asynchronous contexts.
What Curio delivered
- Discovery and course blueprint
- Detailed learning and assessment design
- Interactive online activities
- Multimedia learning content
- Synchronous and asynchronous learning components
- Assessment appropriate to fully online delivery
- Implementation in Moodle
The result
UNSW Canberra received a complete online governance course designed around participation and application rather than passive content consumption. Client feedback recognised the quality of the design, content, delivery, flexibility and professionalism of the team.
