The National Workforce Skills Development Unit needed to support the growth and development of the mental health workforce at NHS scale. Managers and workforce planners required practical guidance on induction, retention, training, development and progression.
The information existed across research and policy sources, but it needed to become something busy users could find and apply quickly. The delivery window was one month.
